AERO FEELINGS

The sensations we pursue with the new RS1 are speed, performance, and ergonomics.

In our development process for competition frames, aerodynamics is a fundamental pillar. Years have been dedicated to thorough studies, prototype creation, and simulations to ensure maximum performance and ergonomics designed for long distances.

KAMM TAIL SHAPES

The Kamm Tail shapes in the tube sections make the RS1 a 100% aerodynamically efficient bike.

The aerodynamic design ensures that air flows without generating pressure zones that could affect our speed or the effectiveness of the watts applied. In other words, we have optimized every effort to ensure exceptional performance with every pedal stroke.

AERO FORK

The distance to the wheel is maximized, eliminating pressure zones where air flows and asphalt vibrations are absorbed.

This design also allows for tire clearance up to 32mm.

PERFORMANCE CARBON LAYUP

BH's technique for frame construction—Hollow Core Internal Molding—involves internal hollowing and high pressure to achieve the highest levels of compact material, eliminate inconsistent pressures, and prevent bubbles and imperfections in the carbon.

Additionally, we use Performance Carbon Layup, which maximizes the bike's lightness-to-stiffness ratio.

STIFFNESS

In the RS1, we have expanded the bottom bracket shell to 86 mm to maximize stiffness. We have optimized the frame tubes to maintain maximum rigidity with minimum thickness.

REACTIVE

The RS1's shorter chainstays are a key element for its agility and responsiveness.

This unique combination of agility, responsiveness, and aerodynamic efficiency makes the RS1 an outstanding choice for cyclists seeking optimal performance on any terrain.

NO VISIBLE CABLES

The frame is clean with all the cabling 100% internal through the ACR system.

STEERING + HANDLEBAR

In the top-end model, the steering and handlebar set integrates into a single block in the head tube. This design not only provides impeccable aesthetics but also maximizes aerodynamics and air penetration.

HIDDEN QUICK LEVERS

In line with integration, the RS1 features hidden quick-release levers, allowing for tool-free wheel removal while maintaining a clean aesthetic and improved aerodynamics.

HIDDEN SEATPOST CLAMP

It is housed within the seat tube for maximum aerodynamics and bike rigidity.

The innovative clamping system located at the bottom of the RS1's top tube ensures optimal hold with less tightening force, 3/5 Nm.

ESSENTIAL COMFORT

The RS1 adopts a specific geometry to make its ride comfortable for most cyclists. The front end is higher thanks to a taller head tube, allowing for a comfortable position while maintaining a racing aesthetic.

The rear end balances agility, quick reactions, and descending security. This makes the BH RS1 a bike that combines high performance and comfort, ideal for long days in the saddle, gran fondos, and intense weekend rides.

PLANCK REAR LIGHT

One of the key accessories for cyclist safety is road visibility. A rear light that fully integrates into the seat tube with a magnetic, easy-to-install system.

WATER BOTTLE AND CAGE

We have developed a hydration system (450ml bottle + bottle cage) that integrates seamlessly with the frame shapes, maintaining the bike’s airflow.
