MAXIMUM LIGHTNESS WITH 80MM OF TRAVEL

Weight was one of the key points in this new development. The Lynx SLS has a minimal difference from the Ultimate, our World Champion XC hardtail.

Its minimalist design, allows for a total weight of 1520 grams.

The result: an ultra-light bike with 80mm of travel.

ULTIMATE GEOMETRY

Another fundamental aspect has been maintaining the geometry of the Ultimate’s rear section to ensure purebred performance. The front evolves towards numbers more typical of bikes with 110mm of travel, improving handling and ride quality.

The rear, with chainstays of just 426mm, inherits the agility of hardtail bikes, making the SLS the most agile bike on descents.

MINIMALIST

The final objective, in line with maintaining the spirit of the Ultimate, was to ensure that this bike doesn't look like a full suspension at first glance. Following BH’s ideology of optimizing design and more efficiently integrating the various frame elements, the result is an Ultimate without limits, capable of tackling anything from demanding World Cup XCO competitions to tough stage races.

SUSPENSION EFFICIENCY

The travel and suspension system are key to suspension efficiency. Without yielding to temptation, we retain the Split Pivot system to position the new Lynx SLS above any other bike in its category.
